Why She Does It

Nichole is a pioneer for making social marketing efforts profitable. She believes that marketing is at the core of what makes companies fail or succeed. After 12 years in the corporate world she has seen marketing teams being discounted as “fluff” or “feel good” but “necessary” so she set out to prove that marketing is the backbone of a company’s success and not just another expense on the profit and loss statement.

If you’ve ever been through a corporate layoff, you’ve seen that marketing is one of the first budget areas and departments to be cut. It is because we still haven’t been able to prove that marketing is crucial and executives are still giving sales teams the sole credit. Nichole has strategies to make sure this doesn’t happen.

How She Does It

As a result, she has built measurement strategies to create marketing teams that are held accountable to the same standards as other “vital” areas in the organization.

Enter social media. Once again we are in a position of trying to prove that social media has an impact on the organization and isn’t just another “nice” thing to be doing. But the technology is new and the measurements are in their infancy. Marketers know social media is on the path to be a driving force in their marketing strategies, but it is difficult to prove that more budget and resources should be invested to their executives when it is shown on a report against other activities that have tangible ROI metrics.

Nichole has created a systematic way to measure social media so you can put it into the context of where it is delivering value to your organization and show bottom-line ROI. She has found that most marketers have most of the tools they need to measure, but need the right language and the right strategy to put the pieces together and deliver results.

Who She’s Done it For

Nichole makes no qualms about the fact that in a sense, she has made it…around. If street cred is important to you, here is Nichole’s respectable list.

The Occasional Quickie (Conferences and Events)

Nichole is a powerhouse on stage. She is tired of the presentations on social media measurement that talk in philosophies and leave audiences with no actionable tactics. Nichole inspires audiences to think differently about measuring social media and shows them how to put their metrics it into the “language” of executives.  She includes actionable strategies that marketers understand and can immediately apply when they get back to the office. She combines her engaging personality with her no BS approach to wow audiences and leave them wanting more. She has developed presentations on everything for developing social media goals, to defining your strategy, and of course everything you need to know about social media measurement.
